Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Train and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Conduct employee orientation and ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional manner.
- Utilize the POS system to process transactions accurately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as hardware store manager or assistant with experience in all aspects of hardware including paint operations, glass cutting, and operating machinery used to cut keys.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in pricing and inventory management.
