Under regular supervision, assists with supervising all play and recreational activities at assigned playgrounds.
Work involves ensuring a safe and healthy place for children to practice sports; notifying children and parents of sporting events; and registering children for upcoming sports.
Reports to the assigned supervisor.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent supplemented by twelve months of experience in recreation programming, recreation/sports participation, and/or sports coaching/officiating or other closely related work experience Must possess a valid Louisiana's Driver's License.
NOTE:
An Associate's degree or higher may substitute for six (6) months of the required experience.
Proof must be submitted verifying any claim of education.
