Presently seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper

Applicant should have the following

-knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software

-general knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Description:
-inputting of bills from vendors
-invoicing customers
-processing payroll for 13 employees
-processing payroll liabilities
-track employee vacation and sick leave
-auditing files
-auditing of A/P and A/R
-issuing wire transfers, (national and international)
-maintaining contracts with certain vendors such as Landlord, Insurance Providers, etc.
-bank reconciliation
-posting journal entries
-preparing bank deposits
-issuing credit memos
-general office duties such as filing, ordering supplies, etc.
-booking flights for upper management
Company goals:
-the ideal candidate would be looking for a long term position in which they are being taught how to run the companies accounting department. Monetary compensation would be based on candidates ability to fulfill this company goal.


General Notes related to the position:

-work schedule is Monday thru Friday 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
-we are willing to do on the job training as long as the individual demonstrates a willingness to learn and shows dedication to the position.
-starting pay and benefits based on candidates qualifications.
-present company employees have a diverse background and candidate must feel comfortable in working in a diversified environment.
-spanish speaking candidate preferred but not required since our main objective is to have a candidate meet the qualification requirements and not the language preference.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
