Assistant General Manager - Kenner, LA (Airport)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with the daily operations of the hotel to maintain standards for guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, quality assurance and asset protection while managing costs within budget.
Financial management skills are critical to the success of each of our managers in order to meet goals established for operational expenses and labor cost.
Our Assistant General Managers are also involved in building, training, and mentoring a team of employees who strive to be the bright spot in each customer's day.
Other key duties include:
o Ensure guest rooms are spotlessly clean o Ensure the physical condition of the hotel is well maintained o Assist with safety and security training programs o Assist the General Manager in responding to and resolving guest complaints with Here For You service Keywords:

o Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business is a plus; equivalent experience is acceptable o High School Diploma or equivalent is required o Must have experience in a leadership role and managing a team o Must possess a valid driver's license o Must be available to work extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays o Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred o Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) o Must have strong analytical skills and decision-making ability o Must be able to work independently and multi-task, prioritizing as appropriate o Must have effective oral and written communication skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
